It would be interesting to see the midlife adult version of The Preparation with all of the job losses and cuts. It is crazy nowadays trying to get extra work after leaving a career path to start a new one.

I am nearly 50 and am doing it, 3 cycles done so far. I have ideas for more, but the program is so rewarding, I will be doing it to completion.

My guess is those who’ve been through the preparation will be better “prepared” to deal with the chaos, having trained for it.

Absolutely. Anyone who undergoes the program will ride the waves of difficulty better than most.

and it’s not like some random probability, we are all quite clear there will be more volatility, and more difficulty than previous generations. And the wars in many cases won’t be obvious, take nothing away from those who fought real battles in WW2, or Vietnam, our fights are unclear, often in the mind, and definitely in the spirit. It’s going to require inner strength and preparation

This is part of the Heritage Foundation's plan for America. Withhold and reduce funding of local education. Criticize, belittle, downgrade and cancel support for higher education. An uneducated populace is a compliant populace. People that can't read higher than an 8th grade level can't be expected to participate in the democratic process in their towns, cities or states or to know what's being done to them in Washington, DC. All part of the plan.

From the worldview of someone in the preparation what are y’all’s thoughts on the United States military academy’s?

Bought my son The Preparation book. He refuses to read it. Going into his senior year and he DESPISES school now. I see NO benefit of him even going back other than to get a diploma which is worth nothing either.

I have become such a pessimist when it comes to education. 😫

Well, that’s a tricky situation. I’ll be hosting a live presentation and Q&A on The Preparation this Saturday, July 18th at 12pm ET. We’ll go over everything — how it works, how it can work for you (or your son in this case), how much it costs, and the overwhelming benefits. It’s easier said than done, but if your son joined the call (or watched the recording afterwards) I think I could change his mind about it and maybe even give him a clear direction of where he wants to go. If you think it’s possible to make it happen, you can register for the call here: https://us06web.zoom.us/meeting/register/Cj-vU_EiRWCURkMZFMN97w

Hi Tabitha, my two young men are participating with me, not the full academic requirements, but there are so many activities I plan to do, for birthday experiences, training, or fun. For example, I found an introduction to welding (just one night), which I plan to do with one son, and he will do his Workplace First Aid (a day) when I am in the Medic cycle. The other son did 10 weeks of a school-provided course at the airport designed for trade entry, while I did flight lessons. We do ATV and JetSki tours on holiday, things that young men like having experience in. My husband did a week long sailing course too, so now he and Eldest Son have crew competency.
