Enjoy your home, and rest a little. Air travel is tiring, and somewhat dangerous right now, I think. If I were you, I would concentrate on Uraguay, and what it has to offer. You have been going full tilt, and something will come up that you want to do next. Get your full health back, and focus on that.
So excited to hear about your Investor cycle!! I’m really looking forward to seeing how you implement it. Maxim, I think your feelings about the automatic selective service registration is pretty much how almost every young American man is feeling right now…it’s weighing heavy on all the 17-18 year olds I know, my son included. Not cool, as they said in the 90’s. Meanwhile, life is meant to be lived and you’re doing fabulous things, so tell discouragement to take a hike! And don’t forget the subtle life lessons that you learned this past quarter that can’t necessarily be listed as accomplishments but are extremely valuable to you nonetheless.
Great update! I'm also worried about the conscription of troops for the epstein wars. My boys have 2 and 3 years left in high school but this war could last a long time just as the previous oil war did. It certainly keeps me up at night, I see those drone videos chasing troops blowing them up. I just see them chasing my sons and murdering them for nothing.
never heard of onlinechess.com, I'm on chess.com usually playing blitz either 3 or 5 min games once to three times a day. I'm just on a free account as I am busy so I don't bother subscribing to unlock things. I find blitz chess to be the best for me. A quick 6 or 10 min match fits my current life well. I have Max as a friend on chess.com, but haven't had a chance to challenge him in a live game :(
That bookstore sounds amazing! I am getting a lovely collection of Louis L’Amour books myself - all well read and previously loved. I am in the middle of one from the Sackett series and can highly recommend it. My next cycle will also be the Investor one, and I’ve been enjoying the videos Doug and Matt do each week.
You’ve more than a full plate but at some point might be a win-win if you interviewed other self-supporting youngsters. One thought is ‘’ AlexsOptions ’’ on twitter. Alex in early 20’s, been trading and coding for years. Don’t know if he skipped college but doubt he needed it. He and his partner Sara apparently do well with their service. Most fail at trading, but most fail at any self-supporting endeavor I imagine.
Good to hear from you. Life is life. Different for everyone. Best to make the most of it with purposeful intent and contemplation as you are doing. You are young. A blessing in most ways. You don't need it but I encourage you again nonetheless. Keep moving forward.
My grandson is graduating this year and he, too, doesn’t seem to want to choose out of the three paths you mentioned. He’s always been entrepreneurial, a great athlete, and knows people. I’m not sure what’s in store for him, but life experience seems to be key. I know whichever direction he chooses, his integrity will guide him to success.

Allowing your nervous system “down time” is essential for long-term health. Consider this time as a restorative time for your amazing body.

Great to hear you’re resting. The sauna will be good for detoxing

In 1978 i was 18 and had to sign up for Selective Service (the draft). But no one was drafted.
And Louis L'amour's memoir--"Education of a Wandering Man"--is great!! And all true!
